Installation and Assembly

Solar pumps are not like traditional fuelled or windmill systems, and there are a few elements of installation and assembly that require special attention. How much assembly is required to get your new solar pump working depends on the type of pump, the type of solar array and your own plumbing and electrical skill level.

Sun Mill pumps are sold through your local Sun Mill dealer, who is an experienced installer of solar pumps. If your pump contains a sun tracking solar array, some of the assembly is performed at the factory to ensure it works right out of the box. Otherwise, your dealer will be able to arrange expertise to be on hand during installation. Note that installation services are performed by skilled contractors specific to your area, so charges vary.
